We have the most wonderful neighbor. Sagar Marahata. We actually met her through craigslist when we contact her to buy a chair and a coffee table. We loved her right away and stayed for a while to talk with her when we went to pick up the furniture. She is from Nepal and has such a fun personality and a great accent. Joey is facsinated with Mt Everest and she had some stories to tell about that. We said goodbye. The next week we ran into her at the city library! Again we had a great time talking to her. Sagar found out that Joey plays soccer and fell in love right away. She is a huge fan and is so funny. She was telling people that Joey was going to play in the next World Cup. So we invited Sagar to come to one of his home games with me. Again hillarious. She thought the game was tied and going into overtime, when actually we had won the game and it was over. She was so confused, and so were we with the comments she was making like telling Joey "we need one more goal!" Tonight we had her over with the missionaries and for dinner. I made dad's delicious fish tacos and then we had a great discussion. It was neat to learn from her. She said she is convinced that there is a God because everything great is really hard to achieve. Nothing great comes easy.
