Last week got a phone call from Mike and Sara Rogers saying that they had some extra buddy passes that were about to expire and that we could use them if we wanted to. We told my mom and dad and with not much notice they packed and flew out here immediately to catch Joey's last home game. It was such a joy to pick them up from the airport and to really really have them here with us in Austin!Since dad has been working now as a Ranch Manager in Park City we made sure to hit up country western shop. We had a great time trying on the hats, the boots, and picking out a cowboy belt buckle for dad. Look how handsome these guys look as cowboys. Yeehaw!

This is the highest point in Austin, Mt Bonnell. It looks over Lake Austin where we go boating. As you can see the million dollar homes along the river are gorgeous. This is also a great place to watch the sunset.
Jules was in town the same time as Mom and Dad. JULES! I love that I am able to see Jules every month! It is just like she is a neighbor and her hotel is literally just down the street. We had Kailua pig with her the first night, and then the next night we all went to RUDY'S! Some good ol' TEXAS BBQ!!! The brisket was absolutely killer!!! It is like eating meat and campfire at the same time. It is phenomenal. We ate outside in the back of the restaurant on a picnic table. It was a lovely evening. Weather was perfect.
